Hello, Toffee, your questions with answers are below.
Regarding the diet part of the first two weeks’ cleanse:
-no meat whatsoever?
Reply: That’s correct, it’s much better if you can avoid it for at least a week; if you’re eating any type of meat, including chicken, you’re putting ammonia right back into your body as quickly as you’re cleansing it. Ammonia is a toxin to your body.
-chicken/veggie broth allowed?
Reply: Yes. But less chicken broth than the vegetable broth; perhaps a 2 to 1 ratio.
-are a few glasses of apple cider vinegar a day okay, or leave that for week 3?
Reply: Actually, ACV is often used as a detox agent, it should be alright during the cleanse.
-I cook most of my food in strictly coconut oil/butter (by default), should either of these be changed?
Reply: Coconut oil is perfect, but the butter is a dairy product unless you’re using ghee. Ghee on the other hand is fine on the diet at any stage once you’ve completed the cleanse.
