Little history…I have been on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet for the past two years. Just recently giving in to certain temptation because I figure a little wont hurt. Well I was wrong. Reading this diet and symptoms of Candida, I realize I should have been on this diet for the past two years.
I have completed my first day of detox. The drinks are horrible. I did read the safe and clean halfway through the day yesterday because I was not ready to take another drink of the clay drink.
So my last drink of the night, besides water, was a whole lemon. I ate broccoli straight out of the fridge… never knew broccoli has a little kick to it.
I am a high protein eater. It helps control my ADD. So normally I have protein every meal. This has been challenging to avoid. I also gave in last night to a little, 1/4 cup, of cooked ground turkey.
I am struggling already. I really need to stick to this diet to get. I really need to do a deep clean, then get to eating soon. So… Can I combined the two versions? Like throw the lemon in with the clay detox drink. I am taking milk thistle with every clay drink. I am also taking Vitamin C and B5 with the broth. When should I take the Swedish bitters, with the broth or with the detox drinks? The broth is delicious, I can drink that all day. I was told not to cook veggies past a certain temp or they loose their vitamins. I am not use to eating greens raw. Also, Apple Cider Vinegar how often and how to take it? Do I just take a shot of it or should I mix it with water? I have purchased Braggs unfiltered cider. Please give me suggestions to hold out all for the next couple of weeks.
