The citric acid naturally occurring in lemons, limes, is Ok. It’s the manufactured citric acid you want to avoid. It is added to some foods as a preservative.

Brown rice and brown rice pasta are perfectly fine for most people on the diet. Just don’t have too much. This diet is about trial and error so you have to feel some foods out.
