Can you state again your Thyroid supplements, please?
Is it Iodine and Standard Process Drenamin? What is the Iodine Supplement, Iodmere?
When I go back to my Dr. in 3 weeks I’ll ask about this. I have same symptoms you do, nighttime urination, cold hands, etc. All you mentioned.
I will tell you, but you need to promise me that you won’t treat yourself with this thyroid condition that you may or may not have. This is a very complex problem and taking these supplements do have drawbacks if not administered correctly and by a professional.
I take one of these 3x per day and one of these 1x per day with meals starting out. I won’t tell you which one has these doseages in fear of you doing it yourself.
I did an iodine test where they applied iodine to my forearm and I had to see when it would dissappear. It should last 24 hours for a healthy person. Mine lasted 6-12 hours (dissappeared during my sleep). After one week of the above doseage I then retest again and see how long it takes for it to absorb again. I then increase the doseage of one of the above by 1 tablet per day for one week. I test again and do the same thing until the iodine stays on my arm for 24 hours. Within 12 weeks I should be completely fine.
Here is some thoughts on the test and other tests you can do on your thyroid. It sounds like it is widely debunked on the internet. However, my naturopath has 30 years of experience and this is the first thing he tests people for typically, so I trust his judgement. I might even consider the th (hormone) test at a later time but this sounds promising and the results are pretty amazing.
In order to figure out how much iodine you should take, this needs to be determined by a doctor.
