The problem with the doctors is what drug is there to treat candida? There really isn’t all that many drugs to treat this and so why would they diagnose it? The only drugs that treat yeast are antifungal drugs like nystatin and fluconazole and these may or may not work.
I also would ask for a diagnosis for whatever you are being treated with the antibiotics…unless they diagnose something I don’t know why they prescribed it. It sounds like they think you have a bacterial infection…
Unless you have oral thrush and rectal itching I don’t think it sounds like candida overgrowth really, especially considering that your digestion is good. Most people with candida are constipated even when consuming coffee and the constipation causes digestive disorders.
I’d ask for a stool sample because you likely have something else going on like sibo or h.pylori, etc.
