My daughter is 18 months as well and I give her yogurt every morning. I mix in a little flaxseed and blueberry (purchased in a ready made pack from Trader Joes) and she seems to like it fine.
I also give her a small spoonful of coconut oil everyday too. I emphasize small because if I give her too much I know she’ll get sick.
I agree with Raster, it’s time to talk to your husband and if he doesn’t listen, take your daughter’s health and nutrition into your own hands.
Oh and…my daughter’s fungal rash went away, but now it has reappeared! I plan to purchase some probiotics for her whenever I go to Mom’s organic market or Whole Foods. What type do you use?
