I felt “very sluggish” for a number of months after starting the diet. You feel more tired at first (first few weeks to few months) and you slowly start to pick up energy as time progresses. As you add in more foods such as buckwheat, greek yogurt, kefir, etc…you will get more energy from those foods. You might not want to add them in yet to your diet, but its up to you. We can give you all sorts of foods to eat, but you need to tread carefully as you progress on the diet.
I would consider doing some juicing and juice some veggies. This should give you a nice pickup. Chamomile tea gives you energy (its an herbal tea) if you steep it longer than 8 minutes. Chamomile is also antifungal and helps promote bowel movements.
If you don’t own a juicer, you can use a blender and strain out the heavier particles.
Another reason you feel sluggish is you went from your old diet that contained western foods to a diet that has less net energy. You get a ton of energy from foods such as wheat, corn, fruit, etc…and the foods on the candida diet are like 1/10th the energy.
