Bodybuilders that have 3-4% body fat cut carbs (not crabs, they still might eat those. Only poking fun Lauren)completely out of their diet 4-8 weeks before a show. So it can definitely be done. Not sure about you but i have a few more percent that 3 or 4 hanging around. Ha.
That depends on the form of carbohydrates you’re speaking of. Complex carbs, which you’re obtaining if you’re following the diet, are good for a normal body; but if you’re talking about simple carbs, they are not good for a normal body or any other type of body.
Able is correct. Even green vegetables have carbs. They are complex carbs which breakdown at a much slower rate. They dont give a sudden burst of energy, but slowly moderate blood sugar. Simple carbs are only one or two molecules that affect the blood sugar very quickly. The body just needs time to adjust to not have these sudden bursts, which is normally followed by a hard crash, ex. 2:30 feeling.
