Okay, I finally have test results, but I need help evaluating them.
Genova Anti-Candida Antibody
IgG 35 (outside range) (Ref. Range < =10 A.U.)
IgM 9 (Ref. Range < =10 A.U.)
IgA 5 (Ref. Range < =10 A.U.)
Immune Complex 2.7 (outside range) (Ref. Range < =0.9 A.U.) I know that the IgG values indicate a past infection. IgM and IgA aren’t really helpful for what we are looking for since IgM is transient and short-lived and IgA is for localized infections. So that brings us to the real test – the Immune Complex. Clearly my number is higher than the reference range, but other than that, what does it tell me exactly? Is it SUPER high, or only somewhat high? How high can that number actually go? Is it high enough to indicate this may really be a large part of my problem? So far, on primarily the website’s diet and NOT the stricter “Able900” diet (as well as a variety of anti-fungal foods and supplements), I haven’t had an awful lot of real improvement. I would say I’ve had a little less of the bloating and some other gastrointestinal symptoms, but no earth-shattering improvement and I’m STILL having all the “head” symptoms. Renee
