So I feel like I’ve been wasting my time now with the cleanse because I’ve been eating small cherry tomatoes as snacks like everyday, lots of them. I didn’t come across Able’s “foods to eat” section until just this morning and see that tomatoes are NOT on it. I’ve been going on the website’s list which had tomatoes listed…uggh!
I also had a very very hard time yesterday at our family Holiday functions and slipped up by eating a bunch of Turkey meat and 1 cup of coffee with cream and sugar. I feel like I have to stop the cleanse and I guess since I’ve been eating tomatoes and had that slip up I’m really not cleansing the right way anyway 🙁 Holidays were a hard time to start this.
I messed up by not finding the forums on this website til a few days in, and I didn’t find the “new” foods list til this morning!
I am headed to Whole foods this morning and I am vowed to start the diet today and stick to it the right way. Like Raster, I have the hardest part not eating meat or bread of any type. I have a ferocious appetite. I noticed that coconut flour is on your list of foods to add the 2nd week.
I think my biggest problem is that I’ve never cooked my entire life. I’m a single bachelor that lives alone and I just never learned to cook. It’s about time and I have no choice now…So, how would I make bread from coconut flour. I searched online and the receipes all invlove “yeast” and other ingredients. Do you just bake the flour, thats it? I am sooo clueless about cooking this is going be rough for me.
I’m going to stick to the eggs as protein and mix in organic chicken and Salmon as you mentioned.
Grains: I guess I can have absolutely no grains? Of course the “wrong” list on the site mentions lots of grains and I was looking forward to this since its definitely something that can fill you up. I thought we can have brown rice and rice products.
I’ve printed out you list and heading to the store. Thank you all again.
