So I remember reading once that Able said we could talk about anything – even the weather – so friends please forgive me, but how about a crappy, crappy, crappy, crappy, super crappy bad day? I know we’ve all had them. As if being sick and trying to fight this things isn’t enough – well – life doesn’t stop for candida does it? Ha..ha….I’ve just had one of those days were things go wrong in all the worst ways. But, given my positive nature – tomorrow is a new day and heck, I’m not even waiting until tomorrow – I’m starting right now!
I think all of this = at least I’m hoping = will help others some day. So back to the chronic yellow stool. I know I’ve said before that I’ve been very sure I’m celiac even though blood work and biopsy said otherwise. Over and over and over again I have read on certified medical endorsed websites that doctors and the medical field admit they know and understand very little about celiac disease. So, why would I trust that over what my own body is telling me? I had a stint with non-gluten free oat bran awhile back that cost me dearly. And yesterday – my gosh. I have to share this. (Keep in mind that I’ve also read a lot about how candida and celiac go hand.) Well, my cheat item is a rice cake. Yes – so terrible. I have been doing really well – and I know I have at least 23 months to go, but yesterday I ate some rice puffs and within an hour I was shaking and starving. I ate a huge dinner and shook all the way through. Just couldn’t figure it out – WELL – they weren’t gluten free. Cross contaminated with wheat. I AM CELIAC. When one does a search for yellow stool – celiac always comes up. And – a close family member did genetic testing and had both genetic markers (can’t remember the correct term) for a predisposition for celiac. So – add onto the fact that one week before surgery in 2010, I bought a waffle iron – and you guessed it – the rest is history. I came home from surgery and ate and ate and ate wheat waffles.
I also found this story awhile back and it could be the story of me. I know I have years to go – but I will get better. So for me – yellow stool is most certainly celiac, candida, high levels of mold in my house, too many antibiotics and gut disbiosis. http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/07/20/for-a-celiac-sufferer-a-new-mystery-illness/ .
I’m so glad you are all here – and by gosh – I’m going to help others with my story. I’m also not going anywhere and will be around the forum for a long time.
