Week 20 – UPDATE
Well, for the past couple of weeks I’ve been cautiously adding “new” foods to my diet. I’ve been eating more cashews…Greek yogurt…a splash of eggnog…and I completely threw caution to the wind and drank an entire pumpkin spice latte. Currently, I’m not experiencing immediate side effects, so I figured all was well….until I realized my regular (and sizeable) BMs are no longer regular or sizeable. (They’ve returned to being like bunny rabbit pellets.) I really don’t understand what’s going on. I suspect it could be the yogurt…but who knows?! I’m so perplexed. I’ve returned to taking flaxseed every day plus Swedish bitters.
Yesterday I went to a new acupuncturist and it was a terrific. I experienced an incredible state of relaxation. (Several years ago, I saw an acupuncturist who did not help me at all.) My achy muscles immediately felt better for awhile. I’m going back tomorrow and cannot wait! Interestingly, the acupuncturist looked at my tongue and said there’s a coating on it which probably is still candida. I didn’t think the coating was that bad, but she thinks it is. I wonder if it’s from the past couple of weeks of reintroducing foods. Anyway, I started oil pulling again.
Overall, my body seems to recover better now from strenuous or long days with little sleep, which is encouraging.
