I have seen naturopaths, medical doctors, internists, chinese doctors and a bunch of other energy workers.
I have recently moved from the US to Amsterdam Netherlands, so I’m dealing with a culture where I don’t speak the language and I don’t know exactly how the health care system works. On my first visit to my new general practitioners office he was stumped with my long list of symptoms and decided to focus on the one symptom of weight loss, he sent me to see a nutritionist who never returned my phone calls and I was never able to work with her. This was probably a good thing because I was on month 4 of the forums strict diet and I’m pretty sure she would have told me that I can’t live without eating fruit and brown bread (people in the Netherlands think brown bread is healthy and should be given to young children to encourage health, I’m not kidding!)
So I had decided to leave my MD alone and focus on the forums diet. I had a huge weight loss in a 2 month period (50 lbs) this strikes me as not normal and something my doctor should know about. I also wanted to have some tests done, so I contacted him with an update on my condition and asked to have a heavy metal toxicity test, and enzyme panal, and a yeast allergy test. His reply was, “that’s not something I treat” you should seek out alternative therapy!! I’m so angry….why do I even bother paying for health insurance? (I do know why and I don’t want to debate it)
So I turn to the internet and a Facebook group called “Amsterdam Natural Parents Network”, and I get nothing but inappropriate advice. This is the second time Bioresonance therapy has come up. I think I’ve had it before in the States, it’s really just a diagnostic tool if I’m not mistaken. Also practitioners using Bioresonace therapy treat with homeopathics, which is useless in the face of Candida. Aparently the one lady who is the best at Bioresonace therapy has a huge waiting list.
I know I’m a bit spoiled coming from Portland where on in every 3rd person on the street is a naturopath, or an acupuncturist. I’m just so angry and I’m venting here. Any advice or ideas would be helpful. Raster was kind enough to offer his doctor but he doesn’t use the internet which concerns me. Also with the time change and my adrenal fatigue I can’t have a phone conversation with a doctor at 9 or 10 at night my time, my brain does not have the capacity.
I feel I’m at a point in my treatment where I need to understand why Candida happened to me. Which of my bodys systems were at fault, and how did it happen?
I read your post and would like to know what test are you willing to take ??
What does really you want, a treatment or to confirm you have CRC ??
Let me know it, and I believe I can help a bit.
