I have lost my appetite for a few months now, but they have changed for different reasons.
Before I knew I suffered from Candida, whatever I ate bothered me. So I still ate stuff that was “feeding” the Candida and actually making it worse. I would get heartburn and feel nauseated all the time after eating.
Now that I’ve been on the candida diet for two months, my symptoms have changed. I’m still bloated (partially from leaky gut) so that “fullness” feeling is sometimes still there which also makes me lose my appetite.
I think in due time, it will get better. Your gut has to heal before it can take on heavier foods. I know how frustrating it is because I used to be able to eat ANYTHING i wanted, and sometimes still be hungry! Also, I’m sure my stomach has “shrunk” because I have been eating so minimally. Instead of 3 meals a day, I break them apart in 6. Maybe try that. Don’t pressure yourself to eat a whole chicken breast if it makes you uncomfortable.
Also, look into the anti-inflammatory diet once you’ve done the candida diet for a while. I am transitioning into that diet right now. I found a link I’m sure there are some more informative ones Anti-Inflammatory Diet
