Once your temperature is pretty stable you would stay at the dosage for as long as you need to. Adrenal fatigue, much like candida, is a symptom of a greater underlying problem; keep that in mind.
How long is as long as I need? And what kind of greater underlying problem do you mean? Here I was thinking that Candida was the greater underlying problem…
Thanks for all your help!
Let’s put it this way: I’ve been taking ACE for over a year now and expect I will be supplementing it to some degree or another for a couple more years still. The idea is that you want to supplement your adrenals for as long as needed, meaning you should continue supplementing until you can come off ACE with no returning symptoms like overt fatigue or widely fluctuating temperatures. I expect I will continue to benefit from ACE for the next couple of years as I continue chelation to detox from mercury (more on this later). I believe that as I continue chelation I will be able to wean myself off of the ACE.
The point raster made just now about thyroid problems often accompanying adrenal problems is very true and will most likely be something you’re going to want to look into treating once you get your adrenals stabilized. The likelihood that you have both adrenal/thyroid problems is evidenced by the fact that your temps are both fluctuating and low.
Think of the adrenals like the engine and the thyroid like the throttle. If you push forward on the throttle, but the engine is barely functioning you’re just gonna stall the engine and make your situation worse. Sticking with this metaphor, first you must fix the engine and then you can fix the throttle.
In my opinion, the greater underlying problem for the majority of candida sufferers is heavy metal toxicity. Mercury toxicity in particular is especially damaging and most often manifests itself as adrenal, thyroid, and digestive problems. It also plays a huge role in mental health issues like anxiety, depression, etc. It wouldn’t be right to put the blame solely on mercury though, as your health can be negatively impacted by numerous other things such as birth control, live viruses from vaccines, other heavy metals like lead/arsenic, chronic bacterial infection, other toxic ingredients via vaccines, antibiotics, processed foods, stress, etc. Despite all these influences however, I have come to the conclusion that mercury toxicity is by far the biggest catalyst of them all for chronic health problems like candida and adrenal fatigue.
Some questions for you:
Do you have any amalgam filling(s)?
Do you eat a high fish diet?
Have you received a lot of vaccinations?
If not, did you mother have amalgam filling(s) or eat a high fish diet while she was pregnant with you?
All of the above are the most common sources for mercury exposure.
