I’m in the same boat. When I realized my problems would not go away with some magic pill or some miracle treatment, I had no idea what to do. There were so many opinions out there, so many rumors. Living in America, there’s lots of things to avoid–after all, Americans consume lots of gluten, sugars, and other processed foods! But if you stick with it, you’ll see results. I can say that after two weeks, I saw a definite difference.
…But you gotta try to stick with it. If you slip a little, just be extra cautious with what you eat and move on. Don’t be like me and have a ton of bad foods in one night, though. That’s harder to come back from. I think part of my problem was that I had stopped putting in so much effort to plan my meals, and I let myself have a small “treat” which somehow lead to more.
The fact of the matter is, this diet works–but like any diet, it requires dedication.
