Javitzy – thanks for the links and advice. I will do some research and hope to figure this out.
Raster – I have not been tested for h. pylori or parasites. Looking at the symptoms I don’t think it is the h. pylori as I don’t get nausea. I just look pregnant and my belly is hard and full of pressure like a ball. I can ask my doctor about the tests when I see him next but that won’t be until October.
Meanwhile I will try the anti-inflammatory diet. I have however been avoiding salmon because of the possibly high levels of mercury(?); my doctor suspected that since I am not recovering from candida the cause might be high levels of mercurey toxicity in my body. But then again if this was the case apparently I should be a lot worse than I am and so he is not pursuing the mercury detox.
I have been avoiding fruit because of the candida diet, but have recently added blueberries to my diet as I have read about their benefits and I don’t seem to react to them.
I am also considering trying acupuncture. It occurs to me that I need to address the problem from many sides; only dietary changes alone will probably not do. Otherwise I have changed a lot of my life style to become less stressfull. This includes changing jobs as my previous job was very stressful. I know this is probably why my health deteriorated in the first place.
