I have lost about 15 pounds on the candida diet that I didn’t really have to lose. However, I’ve finally evened out, again, I think, and I’m feeling fine and getting used to just being really skinny right now.
Don’t eat nuts or any dairy products aside from kefir (pref homemade) and greek yogurt – organic for both. Nuts are very difficult to digest and can contain mold and feed candida, and cottage cheese has lactose which also feeds candida. Kefir and greek yogurt are cultured and the bacteria digest most of the lactose.
Like others said, just concentrate on getting healthy and it will all work out, it just takes some time as your body heals and adjusts to not being run by the little buggers.
I eat an avocado every other day, probably about 3-4 tablespoons of coconut oil every day at least, and two eggs in some form or another. That gives me plenty of fat. I also use EVOO as a salad dressing and sometimes I use it to lightly cook food in.
