You mention stress. This triggers me, because I found that I’m quite affected by my stress level. When I experience stress, my bowels/intestines are usually the first to start showing problems, and my skin tends to be next. Often, it’s even the other way round: I notice my bowels making lots of noises and my stool getting more slimey, and often my skin gets dry and itchy, and only then do I realize that I’ve been under more stress than usual.
Usually I then cut back on my obligations. That reduces my daily workload enough to bring down my stress level, which calms my bowels and restores my skin within a day or two.
Please don’t understand me wrongly, I’m not saying that what works for me will neccessarily work for you too. I’m just offering you my personal experiences. It’s of course entirely up to you to decide whether this rings a bell, and/or whether actively managing your workload / stress level might help you too.
Just my two cents.
