Mooch, you should not be eating beef because it takes 1-2 days to digest whereas chicken and fish only take a few hours to digest. Basically beef constipates you and thus makes your digestion sluggish. Additionally, it contains higher levels of ammonia which benefit the candida.
If you want good sources of protein, I would look at the flours we recommend on the forum. Examples include oat bran, teff, buckwheat, flax, almond meal, etc. Rice bran is also allowed on the diet. I personally eat pumpkin and it has a good source of protein.
If you consume nuts, you can safely eat them if they are soaked in water and/or roasted.
Getting plenty of protein is vitally important on the diet.
