I have been on a strict diet for 9 weeks. I am taking the following antifungals:
Caprylic acid, SF 722, oil of oregano and now started grape fruit seed extract. Rotating them every two weeks.
I have taken caprylic acid and sf 722 already twice( it was 4 weeks break in between ). And I noticed that second time I did not have die off effect, however today I started grape fruit seed extract first time and noticed die off straight away.
Does it mean that candida already adapted to caprylic acid and sf722 ?
Should I look for new antifungals ?
Nobody knows that. What I am guessing is that candida is developing resistance because you are rotating the antifungals. The way to kill resistant microbies is increasing the dosage and time of the treatment. If you are giving them poison, and when they are dying you retire the poison, the strongers will survive. Next time, when you take the poison again, you will have resistant colonies ready to survive the poison.
Another thing is you are rotating antifungals that you don’t know if they are effective against the candida specie or strain is affecting you. No all natural antifungal substances are broad spectrum against all fungus. I will keep what gave me die-off, and will increase the dosage for a long period of time.
