Catlady, I encourage you to check out Floggi’s post history and take notice of what he tends to post about. The majority of his posts are him trying to debunk or downplay the negative health effects of mercury from amalgam fillings and vaccinations.
Why does he seem so interested in the issue? Because he is someone who gets paid by pharmaceutical companies to go on forums like this and dissuade people from pursuing the mercury angle. He does not want people to figure out the true root cause behind their health problems and does his best to deceive. He has a vested financial interest in you NOT getting better.
More and more people are waking up to the ill effects of mercury today and getting themselves better through proper chelation therapy and targeted nutritional supplementation that targets the body’s natural detoxification pathways.
Let me point out that mercury is the second most toxic substance on earth. That alone, should be enough for you to keep mercury toxicity on the table. Then you combine this with the fact that chelation therapy and methylation support have much more success stories at restoring health than pretty much any other alternative therapy out there and you should have a good idea as to the importance of this issue. Tons of people who chelate for long enough find that their candida goes away on its own, which it never did during the time they spent trying to fight it with diet. Check out these two threads titan made a way back about the benefits of chelation therapy and his positive experience:
Since you mentioned that you used to eat a high-fish diet, I should add that I personally got sick after eating a high-fish diet for roughly 3 years. I ate a lot of farmed salmon and tuna and without realizing it, slowly poisoned myself until I had developed candida and a host of other health problems. I didn’t realize what was happening at the time because it’s such a slow process, but looking back it becomes abundantly clear.
I really hope you consider what I have to say Catlady. Persistence and an open-mind are probably the two most important traits to have when it comes to recovering your health from this mess.
Aine Ni Cheallaigh wrote a book “Getting the Mercury Out” about her own personal recovery from amalgam illness that details how many health stones she had to turn over before she turned over the mercury one and discovered the true major catalyst behind her health problems. If/when you decide to pursue the mercury angle I’d recommend this book as a great read.
I’ll leave you with a link to a yahoo group dedicated to recovering from mercury poisoning via the Cutler chelation protocol in case your interested in getting some other perspectives. You do have to submit a request to join the forum because they don’t want trolls or shills like Floggi going on there and ruining the discussion so it’s a bit of a pain, but I’ll leave you with the link just in case: http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/frequent-dose-chelation/conversations/messages
