If amalgam fillings are unsafely being removed, little pieces of amalgam can be ingested and do potential harm.

Not all GMO foods are bad, but right now most of them are designed to make them more cost efficient for the multinationals, not to make them more healthy. Most GMOs are made to be resistant against a type of pesticide, so the companies who use them can over-use them to kill off anything else. Another type of GMO that is very popular is the one that produces pesticides by itself.
Furthermore GMOs are generally not recognized by your body and is treated as ‘something toxic’.
All these chemicals, unrecognised materials combined with more toxins can damage your immune system. Especially combinations of toxins are very dangerous (eg mercury and lead).
