Super confused on if yesterday’s protocol was helpful or hurtful?
Definitely felt weird, but nothing I can link to encouraging yeast growth OR hindering it :/
Found a vid/post that *totally* pissed me off.
I mean, I was a raging MESS. Seriously. I am an herbs-girl…all about food being your medicine.
So I expect great things from Susun Weed…I was 18 yr old when she taught me all kinds of herbal healing.
By studying her and David Hoffman, Rosemary Gladstar, Micheal Tierra, the brilliant minds of the Marcellots at 7 Arrows Herbsfarm from which I learned….I expected good things from Susan on this subject.
Instead i read that she thinks both Candida Overgrowth Syndrome and Herx reactions to be a MYTH and BS, and that natropaths are in it for the money!
Its a good thing I am not rich because my happyass would be on a plane right now….
I know that whenever something pushes my buttons, there is always something there I have to learn from.
No coincidences in life. Sorry if you disagree.
So I listened to what she had to say. All of it. While I grinded my teeth, lol.
I have to say, I got good things out of it when I stopped swearing long enough to listen.
She has some great points, points that I genuinely resonate with, and if you can get through her message long enough to see her perspective (wisewoman-shaman perspective), you might change your attitude enough to make this journey a tolerable one. Dare I even say, INTERESTING one.
This of course led me to a forum called Mothering, the home for natural living.
I am a forum addict. Im not on it, but if its still going strong, I may be soon.
They have a thread there BASED on this perspective that Susun Weed has, pretty much because it stir many pots.
It stirs the pot of supplements, the pots of who is in it for money, the pots of prescriptions, you name it.
I learned alot.
Candida is NOT fake. Its not “made-up”.
Candida overgrowth may need a new perspective, one which views it as necessary and benign to the extent that water when necessary is benign, and dangerous in excess.
Anyhoo, a pot of tea is calling me.
Going to go price water purifiers for the shower, the sinks, and take a break from using comet today.
I just learned it isnt helping my situation any 😉
