Really cool experience.
Ate a small bag full of raw organic carrots and my tongue,when done (30+ min), felt a tingly and rough.
Looked in the mirror, and ALL my coating is GONE.
I heard another member say they did that with a strawberry, sliced and held on the tongue, but if anything I expected the carrot to make things worse.
I think some of the food-list-theory is actually that- theory- based on sugar content, but not taking into consideration other parts of the food that may be beneficial.
Carrots are sooooo on my YES-list right now.
I havent had a perfectly clear tongue in a very long time.
8 months in the diet, I still have a bit of coating left. It disappears after every meal and is at its worst in the morning before breakfast.
Wow, it disappears after every meal? Thats pretty freaking good.
Mine never seems to go away. Its super light, and an ER doc went so far as to say im crazy and it isnt candida, but this was the first time I have seen my tongue that pink,lol.
