or, make your own! it’s so much cheaper and more powerful. milk kefir, water kefir, sauerkraut, kombucha. I make them all – and can get all of the ingredients for around what it costs for 1 bottle of probiotics – including starters which you only have to buy once (unless you kill them and don’t have backups that you’ve grown). homemade sauerkraut will have soil based organisms, whereas kefir will have types like you would find in say, Megaflora probiotic. note, it might take a while to tolerate some. for instance, I had trouble with kombucha and sauerkraut but now I eat them sometimes daily. start with a very small dose and build up.
