Something else I could have had was salmon with green beans. That would mean the veg would be ok but the salmon wouldnt have been organic so its still a risk either way, am i right?
Yes, it’s still a risk.
If I’m not mistaken, Jo, I think you have the ‘strict’ diet, is that correct? If so, you’ll see that green peas are not listed as one of the acceptable vegetables.
To be honest, as long as foods are causing reactions such as a worsening of thrush and brain fog you should stick to salads when you go out to eat. I know that this is bad news, but I can’t tell you a fairy tale to make certain foods acceptable when they’re really not.
Before starting the treatment, I was going out to eat over five times a week, every week, but for almost three months I carried my lunch with me or ate my own food in my home. Was it fun? No, I basically hated being unable to go out every day if I wanted to, but I knew I would probably never cure myself if I continued this. If I absolutely had to go out due to celebrations or business meetings, it was always salads with lemon juice for me. If there were boiled eggs on the salad bar, then it was virtually a feast for me to have sliced boiled eggs on the salad.
