I had endomitriosis removed via laparoscopy before having an IVF procedure. I have my two girls today on a first try and am very happy about my choice, even though it was not easy. My girls are 3 years old now.
I probably had endomitriosis for a very long time not knowing. Doctor that removed it said it will probably come back in few years but it should be better for a while. I had very painful periods and heavy bleeding always. After endomitriosis and having my kids it was better for a while, then heavy periods started again, but never so painful.
I did find some online articles connecting endomitriosis with candida infestation. You should google it and get more information about it.
I am pretty sure that I have some form of candida overgrowth most of my life since I have had some symptoms (now knowing they are candida related) most of my life and those cleared since I am on the treatment. I also had chronic yeast infections since I was 15. I am pretty sure that my infertility was partly or completely caused by candida, but I did not know what I know today.
Wishing you best of luck!
