Yeah, you need to be really careful introducing iodine. I started supplementing kelp because I haven’t got any dietary source, and haven’t had one for possibly a year or more without realising. I’m only taking 100mcg at the moment, about half the RDA, which is apparently quite low. I’ve heard you should raise the dose slowly every few weeks or so.
