Opinions are a dime a dozen, actually they’re much cheaper on a forum.
The point is, it isn’t necessary to use the diet long term IF the person follows both the protocol and diet which is stressed in the diet and over and over again on the forum.
Something about it not being healthy.
Where’s the proof for that statement? We have proof that the diet works with the protocol and that it actually makes most people healthier, and not less.
If the diet is so unhealthy, why was my LDL cholesterol level lower and my HDL higher than it was ten months prior to starting the diet? Why are my thyroid levels back to normal right now without medication when during my infestation I had hypothyroidism and was on thyroid medication? Why did I have so much more energy after being on the diet for ten months than prior to starting it? Why is my blood pressure reading perfect every time I have it checked now? Why did my “unhealthy” food cravings go away while I was on the diet? Why did I stop having any type of sickness or illnesses at all after being on the diet for ten months? Zero colds, no flu, no sore throat, no allergies, nothing. I can answer that for you, my immunity improved on the diet.
Do you have explanations for all of these? All just a happy coincidence, right?
You said yourself that you pulled the diet from the site because of complaints or people not in agreement with its contents.
Did you stop to think that maybe I just got tired of the bitching and whining? I’ve always made it clear that this is the diet that worked for ME,
use it or don’t use, I really don’t care which you choose, but it’s an option not a damn order. Some were acting like I had just handed them a prescription to which they had no choice but to follow, not having sense enough to realize it was always a choice. Instead they acted like their only other choice was to complain about it.
The problem with a very restrictive diet for any purpose or condition is that many people are not likely going to stick to it for long or 100% if it limits them too much. While there may be people that have stuck with it and seen results.
That’s a problem with the individual, not the diet. When someone fails their driver’s test is it a problem with the car or the person driving it?
Far too many people have stayed on the diet and proved that it can be done to say that failure is the diet’s fault.
History holds the facts; and over time, we came to see that those who complained the most about the diet were those without the nerve or will power to follow through with it, or some were just too lazy to try. It does, after all, take a bit of work to stick with something.
