Its very confusing because we are supposed to trust these people
I think it’s easy to operate under the assumption that when you are sick you go to the doctor they give you a pill and you are healed. That’s not the case with Candida you must be proactive in your treatment and your research. (I’m not even going to mention how you must heal yourself on more then just a psychical level)
At this point I don’t trust anyone with my health other then me.
It’s time to take responsibility for yourself.
Preach it, girl. This is what I think, after being told so much crap from so many different doctors. I trust the people on this forum because they are living proof of what can work and what can’t…I don’t need a laboratory test (which I believe are often rigged in favor of the interests of whoever paid for it), I just need some proof in someone else enough to try it myself and get proof for myself.
My colon hydrotherapist put it best I think, when she said, “Well, it’s better to be safe than sorry, so you should probably just go with the most strict diet that people recommend.”
Getting rid of the candida is my #1 priority in life right now, over literally everything else. I am having to miss out on another term of my show choir, 2 dance performances (one in each troupe I’m in), and the chance to be in my dream musical, all thanks to this, but missing out on a year onstage is better than missing out on life because I didn’t let myself heal from this. I’m rusty already and will get rustier, but I’ll practice when I’m feeling better and get my voice and my moves back, and there will always be another show and another musical to be in…I have been performing my whole life, and I will continue to perform after this…just having to take a break for awhile :p
You have a mistake. A very restrictive diet isn’t the solution to this syndrome. You will complicate it more.
I believe I have some experience to say it.
