It’s frustrating not having a proof of diagnosis for these conditions, but I have to say that almost 2 weeks in with just green veggies, chicken, tuna and eggs I can actually say I feel different. My cravings are almost negligible and I actually crave coconut oil and lemon now. I wake up happier and am less irritable throughout the day. I know it’s early days and I’m prepared to do this long term but I’m surprised to fInd I’m not doing it against my will!! I look forward to my same veggie stirfry every night, I’m no longer hungry during the day ( I have to remind myself to snack on cucumbers and avocados), and I’m not dying for sugar/carbs the way I always used to.
Even if by way of no die-off symptoms I find myself without a candida overgrowth, the positive side effects I’ve already experienced have created in me a will to continue eating like this – infection or no. I am stupefied what an amazing change can occur with simple changes to diet (well not simple per ce, but relative to surgery or hard core medicinal drugs)
