The chances of my getting prescribed Nystatin are, unfortunately, non-existant. My doctor is great, but he simply does not buy into the candida thing. I can’t blame him, there’s no scientific evidence and he is an evidence based doctor… it’s not his fault. It does mean, however, that all prescription antifungals are off the table for me.
Show him this:
In the research, there is a questionnaire first at some 60 questions, then they are boiled down to just 7 (7-item questionnaire). If you have this syndrome, you will fit into these. And the research proves that you will benefit from nystatin. It does not say that you have an candida overgrowth, just that you have, like the patients – some symptoms, and they benefit from nystatin, and there by its likely you will too.
Can you remember how the guy got candida in the first place? 🙂 And thanks for posting this!
