I had it VERY bad, but mine was a side effect to some medicine my doctor had me on. Are you on any medicine that could be causing the constipation? Have you ever been tested for food allergies or sensitivities? It could be something you are eating is causing the constipation. Many people that have gluten sensitivities have major problems with constipation. I know you are not eating any gluten if you are following the diet, but people can be allergic to many things. For example, many people are allergic to eggs. Also are you getting enough fiber in your diet? Lack of fiber can cause many stool to be hard to pass.
With all this being said I have been constipated before for no apparent reason. I was on a gluten free diet, not eating anything that I had sensitivities too, having enough fiber, and not on any medicine. I know how you feel! I am sorry that it has not fixed itself.
When I first had problems I used prune juice. Prune juice is great if you have an impacted bowel, but using it can make you gassy and cause more pain when it is fixing the problem. I then switched to Aloe Vera juice which helped me have a bowel movement. It work like prune juice but without all the painful gas. I would continue taking Aloe Vera juice after your bowel movements become regular so it keeps them that way.
For me and my other family members with constipation problems Aloe Vera works great, but if for some reason it does not help you, you could try prune juice. For me prune juice worked but was uncomfortable. Just a reminder that both of this juices work slower then milk of magnesium or a edema.
You are in my thoughts and prayers!
Lots of love to you,
