I’m still really confused about coconuts. I’m currently on my second week of the ‘phase 0’ detox. Last week I was eating a coconut a day including the water and meat. At first I felt fine but then noticed after eating 2 in a row that I got a sore throat, which for me is usually a bad reaction. I also noticed when eating dehydrated coconut I’d get a sore throat immediately. I didn’t realize there was so much sugar in coconuts and I’ve since stopped. I read that coconuts can be introduced during the 1st/2nd phase of the strict diet but now I’m not so sure. My question is did I just do too much to soon or are coconuts off the list in the first phases of the diet?
I’m sorry if this has already been answered else where. I just rather be safe than sorry.
