This is not true, I think you’ve got it backwards.
Cheeses aged more then six months contain mold that can feed candida. All candida dieters should avoid Blue, Gorgonzola, Roquefort and other cheeses containing mold. Some people suffering from candidiasis can eat goat cheese, Feta, cream cheese or Mozzarella without trouble.
I would certainly avoid aged Cheddar, Romano or Parmesan cheeses, which can feed candida.
