My point is that carrots in small amounts or other bad foods like potatoes in small amounts should generally not be a problem (especially if eatem infrequently, but in large amounts they can be a problem.
I’ve only binged on them a few times over the last 2 years (like 3-4 times) so its not like I am pigging out on them a bunch. I feel that this is better than other alternatives that you may find at parties, etc. if you don’t bring any food.
I think part of my problem now is that I am better now and I have this long term perspective on the diet; a few small carrots isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things but if you are in a sensitive state, they can absolutely set you back.
