I would lay off the animal products completely if it makes you feel like crap. I have tried the paleolithic diet for months and it never gave me energy at all. Dont know what everyone is talking about when they say they thrive on it. I did better on a vegan diet. If your body doesnt want meat, you dont need it. Eggs can be pretty heavy too. Careful.
Listen to your body. I ended up eating only brown rice and coconut at one point just because it made me feel good. You dont want to be eating damp and heavy foods if it makes you feel bad. If you are eating damp and heavy foods, I recommend spices to counter the mucous forming effects.
I wouldnt worry about the sauerkraut. If it contains crap it should say so on the package. Worrying too much about food also does you harm 😉 Sometimes more than the actual food.
