I agree with Hy but also wanted to warn you to be careful about making changes though. Do it slowly because huge changes could kick in die-off which you don’t want. I had a huge die-off from just modifying my diet. If you get into die-off, I am guessing that toxins would end up in your milk. Also, introduce probiotics slowly, smaller count first than increase it gradually. Probiotics could cause die-off.
Since you don’t have that many symptoms, perhaps your infestation is not that bad so maybe you are safe there, but better safe than sorry is my motto. But be glad that you found this information now! I didn’t and I am sure I had candida problem before having kids without making the connection and during pregnancy my immune system naturally was weakened as it should to keep the baby (babies in my case) so the problem surfaced after I had my kids, then all the stress of raising two babies alone… it all culminated when they were 2yo.
My advice is to make gradual changes towards better diet and as soon as your baby stops breastfeeding do the protocol. It will be good for you anyway as it is healthy and rebuilds your immune system. Making these lifestyle changes will also help give your baby a good start. Our babies like to eat and try what we eat so you can teach her or him healthy eating habits right away. My kids have a cup of kefir every day with me, I monitor their sugar intake and concentrate on home cooked veggies and good protein rather than processed food.
Best of luck to you Ali!
