Balancing your fats might do more than eliminate inflammation too. It seems marine PUFAs like EPA and DHA can inhibit candida biofilms. I’ve read that PUFAs, like those in vegetable oils (and almonds?), can feed biofilms. I don’t know enough about fats to know if these two articles are contradicting each other. I’d assume there are significant differences between n-3 and n-6s, even though they’re both PUFAs. In any case, getting most calories from saturated fat, minimising n-6s and taking marine oils seems like a good idea on this diet, and for anyone suffering from inflammatory symptoms.
