Vitamin D deficiency is strongly linked with MS and other inflammatory diseases. Have you had your serum (25(OH)D) levels checked? I’d guess your doctor would’ve already covered that.
Other big sources of inflammation are dysbiosis, e.g. candida overgrowth, diet, stress and lack of exercise. Following the protocol here may be helpful in treating the first two. Read the blog in the link for advice on balancing fats to reverse inflammation.
I have never had any info from the NHS about my vit D serum levels so I don’t know if I should assume they were ok? Either way, I take a vit D supplement but I wouldn’t know if the dosing was right. Not sure whether it’s worth a private test?
Thanks for the link, I need ALL the motivation I can get as I get so tired and things just slip out of my thoughts. I have booked some hypnotherapy to deal with some stresses and bought a pilates machine so I’m hoping all these steps will keep me focused on the overall goal!
