I had cryo-ablation surgery and have switched to a totally vegan diet along with consuming six 8 oz glasses of carrot juice (2/3 carrot 1/3 greens) everyday. I know I have a candida problem and have had it for a couple of years now. I know the Candida Diet will help, but I am afraid to give up the carrot juice regimen. Is it possible to get rid of the candida without giving up the carrots?
Also, I did not see any mention of kombucha (fermented tea) on the list of restrictions. Is it ok to be consuming it when you have a candida problem or should I be avoiding that as well?
You would be taking a chance with carrot juice because of the sugar. For example, to show you the difference between various vegetables; the glycemic index of carrots is 47, but the GI of both broccoli and cabbage is 0.
Couldn’t you use green vegetable juice just as well?
Kombucha is fine on the diet.
