I was sweating and feeling sick. I checked my blood sugar and it had dropped to 69 and checked again to make sure it was right and it said 63.
Wonder if you have low body temps while this is all going on: particularly when you are sweating? Sometimes when I feel my sickest my temp can be in the 96 range. It’s more typical in the 97 range and I feel hot (almost feverishly uncomfortable) when it’s closer to normal.
My suspicion is the endocrine system is causing this. A compromised endocrine system which through hormones regulates so many body functions is fairly common with CRC. Low body temps are a certain sign of an endocrine problem. Blood sugar issues can effect thyroid function as well as thyroid dysfunction can cause blood sugar issues. Another which came first tail chasing scenario. I have been using a lot of cinnamon which helps regulate blood sugar and seems to be helping to some degree.
Anyway, don’t mean to scare you as adrenaline alone is something we sufferers need to limit while trying to correct this all. Only trying to educate on what my seeking keeps coming up to help shorten others’ learning curves. Almost always with candida there is some level of endocrine dysfunction and supporting them is wisely built into this forums protocol, albeit subtly. Though, perhaps testing and focusing on treatment of the thyroid/adrenals/hormones might go along way towards solving the candida issue. Dunno but, they are certainly tied together.
