I started out doing a less strict diet with pork, milk, rice, vinegar, sugar, etc. and it just didn’t work at all; I didn’t get better very quickly and I still had major problems. Once I found this forum, I realized why I wasn’t getting better.
Rice is high in starch, high in the glycemic index, and is midly inflammatory. If anything, I would eat it once a week tops. Wild rice, black rice, and red rice have greater nutritional properties when compared to white or brown rice.
Vinegar is basically like drinking alcohol (beer). I had vinegar the first 6 months on the diet in the form of salad dressing. Once I removed it, I started to heal way faster. I would stick to raw apple cider vinegar which is allowed on the diet; there is a big difference between raw ACV and distilled ACV. Annie’s makes raw ACV salad dressing which is low in sugar, and I would go with this as a salad dressing thats relatively ok. I would use raw ACV as a white vinegar replacement while cooking.
The coffee and milk shouldn’t be a problem if you have it sparingly, but if you drink it everyday you won’t heal very qucikly.
So its basically up to you. How quickly do you want to get better? Do you want to struggle for 9 months or struggle for 1-2 months and then progressively add in more good stuff over the next 7 months?
It sounds like you are experiencing die-off, so I would protect the kidneys and liver from the toxins. What are you taking to do this?
