However, while reading the website and posts on here, it looks like I can’t have ANY sugar, even sugar from fruits and starches that are gluten free even.
Well, for a few days I’ve been “stricter” on myself with my sugar and starch content.
Yesterday I was reeeeally exhausted from it. But when it came to candida symptoms, I was feeling great.
Then today I almost passed out at work. That cannot be good. I’m afraid that I might be hypoglycemic to some extent and dropping my blood sugar so low is not good for my body. Somebody from work snapped off a tiny piece of dark chocolate for me and 5 minutes later I felt better.
So my question is…can you ABSOLUTELY have NO SUGAR?? I mean..I don’t think passing out is healthy.
Today I had plain yogurt for breakfast, hummus with some carrots, cucumbers, and celery, and some baked chicken with broccoli for lunch. By 5 o’clock I almost fell when I stood up from my chair.
Any advice would be great. I want to be strict on myself because I am determined to get over this candida but at the same time I don’t want to have to worry about passing out because of it.
Any suggestions on things I can eat with low low sugar? Is dark chocolate ok if eaten in a small amount a day?
The only sugars that hold my working day come from buckwheat, plain yogurt, green vegetables, and some fat (olive oil and coconut oil) I don’t consume anything else but chicken and fish. I forgot, some coconut bread made with coconut flour. That is it !
