I did it. I’m just completing the first week of stage one. I have been battling candida since taking 3 courses back to back of antibiotics. Then I went on Nystatin for 3 rounds as I developed a bad case of thrush. That didn’t even make a dent. So did the troches for 2 rounds. Helped a bit but didn’t get it. Then the Fluconozole because by that time, I also had a yeast infection down below. Went 2 months on the fluconozole and finally decided I needed to try something else. I emailed my dr after finding the candida diet online and asked him about doing the cleanse and the diet for a couple of months before continuing to take more rounds of what seems to be very ineffective antifungals for my particular yeast infection. He gave the go ahead. I did the 7 day cleanse first. I have to tell you (this is graphic sorry) it took until the 2nd enema before I started noticing white/gray matter that coincidentally looks like candida floating in the toilet. By the third enema, there was a lot of it coming out. It was shocking. The 4th enema there wasn’t much at all. I have to tell you that during that cleanse I felt like I had the flu and I was so weak. My body ached everywhere. By the time it ended, I was starting to feel better! By the first day of stage one, I was clearer headed than I have been in a long time. I was still weak but seemed to feel better. Now I’ve still had some bad days, fatigue and body aches, but nothing like that first week. So, today is day 7 of stage one. I actually can tell a difference in the thrush in my mouth. It has gone down. I’m not taking the prescription meds either, I’m just following this program. Now I also have to tell you that I don’t cheat at all. I stick to it. But I also think the 7 day cleanse plays a significant role in cleaning out the system and getting it ready for the stages of this program. It is hard, but it was sure worth it for me. I feel better than I have in years as far as ability to concentrate and energy. I am still resting as much as I can. Drinking lots of water. And taking supplements. For me, I just wanted to do this right. I think it was worth it and I’d recommend that 7 day detox to everyone that wants to do this program. Hope this helps. Just letting you know it is hard but it can be done and I think it should be done. I’m really looking forward to getting to stage 2 so I can introduce the antifungals. I am hoping my thrush will be gone soon after. Oh, I also have taken probiotics since the beginning.
