This is an amazing forum and I am so thankful for it.
I was going to post something just like Cheesey’s just now.
I’ve been on the diet and very strict, for a year (with the exception of some slips around Christmas) and my family and friends tell me I’m worse that when I started – and I am.
Sometimes I want to just die. But that’s my minds easy way out I think. I feel imprisoned in that I can’t go back to being the way I was before (like eating a sweetpotato) without feeling crappy – but yet I’m slowly getting worse.
I have leaky gut and shouldn’t eat half of the few things I’m “allowed” to eat. I do anyway coz I have to live…but this puts strain on my already depleted adrenals. My fatigue is worse than it was a year ago, much worse. I was an athlete- that was my joy, now I’m a couch potato.
So, similar to Cheesey, I am thinking I need to focus, not on the Candida but on my adrenals. I need to do what some of you are doing, meditate, relax, have fun…..if I could only figure out how….LOL
But I did want to share this one thing I hope to actually do. It is an Eastern way to recuperate. Go to bed and stay there for a week. No TV, No phone, No computer, just a few good books. Have someone feed you healthy food. Have a massage therapist come 2 times during the week. Don’t do ANYTHING but eat and sleep (and read so you don’t loose your mind). I’m trying to figure out when and how I’m going to do this.
