I have tried reducing the histamine levels in several ways. Back many many months ago when Cleveland clinic initially thought I had Mastocytosis – I was on 3 x the normal amount of prescription allergy meds. After 6 weeks it made no difference at all. I also have an anaphylactic response to Chromolyn. I even got some Ketotefin from Canada and that didn’t make any difference either.
After the 6 weeks and all my histamine tests came back negative the allergist said to stop taking everything – its not my histamines.
Even just 2 weeks ago I was eating a jar of almond butter a day with no reaction. Now suddenly a teaspoon will give me asthma attack. The only way is to restrict my foods to those without or little salycilate and histamine – I even still get reactions right now from brussel sprouts.
The foods on the low histamine/salicylate diet are very un-candida friendly. Its all bread, sugar, rice and dairy. My candida is still way out of control – hence the 5 items only diet. I would LOVE to branch out. I either get asthma, brain fog to the point of not being able to stand up, severe dizziness to fainting if I try to eat anything not on that list. How can I incorporate more foods?
I definitely have leaky gut. I take L-Glutamine twice a day and drink several quartz of homemade viili yogurt. I tried eating some sprouted cooked oat bran this morning and was treated to throbbing colon with severe headache for hours (still have the throbbing headache).
Here is a small sampling of the homeopathics I have taken. I’ve seen over 6 natropaths. 3 accupuncturists. 2 Homeopaths. Chi masseuse. Reiki master. They all have an answer – until I am out of money and no better for it. We have had to take out a 2nd mortgage just to keep up with my medical expenses.
You can understand I have also seen a bevy of western doctors too. Taken more than 2300 tests (yea – I tried to keep count for awhile). So to tell me any one of those tests I tested negative for (over 98%) could be a false negative sends me into spiraling depression mode.
I am wondering about the SF722 since its in a base of olive oil (extremely high in salicylates).

This list does not include all the prescription medication I have been prescribed. As of the last 6 months I have not taken any prescription meds. The last one I took was Fluconase (2x a day for 3 months).
