Still here … kind of.
After over a year of candida diet and GAPS diet with no effect at all (in fact my food tolerances keep getting worse) I went crazy and tried the 80/10/10 vegan diet for 3 weeks. Which I’m sure you already know made me SUPER sick.
The first week and a half I felt better – I even went running! Then all my awful symptoms of systemic candida came crashing back. Waking up after being unconscious on your living room floor for an undetermined amount of time will do it.
I’ve been dealing with die off which affects my vision a lot and sharp back pain (which last time ruptured a disc landing me in operating room). So haven’t been able to read or write any posts.
I’m also seeing a new naturopath in my area. She specializes in oncology and other severe cases (like mine). Waiting results back from IgG food allergy test then likely going to do the gut flora fecal test. Couldn’t do both for $$ reasons.
Likely I also have diverticulitis which is why I can’t tolerate any type of nut/seed, millet, hemp, quinoa. And naturopath thinks I may have problem with all dairy so now viili yogurt and butter are out. Even ghee is off the list.
Otherwise back to laying in bed and feeling awful.
I’m also getting shaky like hypoclycemic shaky about 2 hours after eating. Anyone dealt with this? I eat cauliflower or zucchini with every meal so its not ketosis.
Also so sick of fish with the same 4 steamed/baked vegetables 3 times a day. And need snack ideas. But all the websites (even candidadiet.com), books and etc all have recipes with 1-2 or more elements I can’t eat. What’s a good index for:
NO CRUCIFEROUS VEGETABLES (CAN’T EAT KALE, SPINACH, CHARD, ETC)
NO EGGS (allergy)
Every time I see an alternative like for eggs its chia seeds or flax – which I can’t eat. Continuing to spiral downward in health. Seriously, on a daily basis I wish I just had cancer.
